What data do we collect

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. When you become a client, we additionally process company details, billing information and data required to deliver our services.

How we use this data

We use your data to contact you, prepare quotations, deliver our services, send invoices and comply with legal obligations such as tax retention requirements. The legal bases for this are the performance of an agreement, legal obligations and our legitimate interest in maintaining business contact.

Data processing on behalf of our clients

For our clients we manage systems that process personal data of their customers, such as booking systems and WhatsApp assistants. In those cases our client is the data controller and Upview acts as a data processor. The privacy policy of the relevant client applies to that data.

Who we share data with

We only share data with parties necessary for our services, such as our hosting provider, software vendors (including GoHighLevel and Meta/WhatsApp), our accounting software and payment providers. We enter into data processing agreements with parties that process personal data on our behalf. Some providers are located outside the EU; in those cases we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention periods

We do not keep data longer than necessary. Contact details of prospects are kept for a maximum of two years after the last contact. Administrative records are kept for seven years in accordance with Dutch tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Send your request to mark@malmobv.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Www.upview.io uses functional cookies that are necessary for the website to work properly. If we use analytics or marketing tools (such as Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), non-functional cookies are only placed after you have given consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
